Alex Roberson's curator insight, September 22, 2013 8:27 AM

As terrorism is on the rise, security is more important especially for larger events, outisde of the events there are large crowds which can easily be the target of the attacks.  having proper security measures is paramount in the safety of those both watching and participating in the sport

Jonathan Griffith's comment, September 22, 2013 6:23 PM
Terrorists always want to hit an event of location with both a large number of people and something of high publicity. With the Super Bowl being one of, if not the most widely televised events, it makes sense to take security so serious.
Brandon Hockenbarger's curator insight, April 26, 2015 12:51 AM

This is a great video showing what actually goes into keeping the fans, players, and workers all safe during a large sporting event.

Five of The World's Most Sustainable Sports StadiumsGreen Building ElementsSustainability is one of the most important aspects of any new architectural design and in recent years we've seen this spread into the world of sports stadiums.

Sustainability is one of the most important aspects of any new architectural design and in recent years we’ve seen this spread into the world of sports stadiums. Traditionally, the concept behind sports stadiums has been to create a colosseum-like structure which adds theatre and creates an incredible atmosphere with little prior thought ever given to sustainability. Recently, things have begun to change and we’re now seeing more and more architects giving sustainability the attention it deserves when designing new sports stadiums...

Awesome Video!!!

Lem McBride's curator insight, June 25, 2017 1:28 PM
This sounds like a good concept, but I think this is taking out all of the fun to the game.  This would require  opening gates earlier. longer wait times and more staff to hire and train.
Ashley Hoyt's curator insight, July 23, 2017 1:34 PM
With any large event, crowd management and safety must be a priority.
