This part of Sports Management has gotten huge because gone are the days of an "Owner" and we currently live in the time were their are a collective group of owners that gather together and collectively run a franchise. This brings the question of does this type of ownership detert from the overall sense of customer service for the fan base ? or does this become more about profits?

This journal described the reasons why crowd management needs to be in place at large crowds at sporting venues such as the Olympics, NBA playoff games and the Super Bowl. Four reasons were mentioned in the journal. Crowd management is there for the patron's safety and so the sporting venue can operate smoothly, you need to have security so the patron's do not get out of hand from drinking excessively which can cause people to start fighting.
