MLB Players Accused of Taking Performance-Enhancing Drugs

MLB Players Accused of Taking Performance-Enhancing Drugs | Sports Ethics: Merenda, M. | Scoop.it

Major League Baseball is once again alleging that a number of its players are guilty of abusing performance-enhancing drugs. One of the players is Ryan Braun, a player for the Brewers who narrowly escaped the same kind of trouble a year ago.

MLB is investigating more than 20 players who may be linked to Biogenesis, a clinic that distributes performance-enhancing drugs. With big names on the list such as Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun, baseball fans across the country are paying close attention for any new announcements. Many fans are discouraged that yet another group of athletes seemed to have set a poor example for our young people.
