The basics of a healthy diet

1 . REDUCE THE PORTIONS AND CALORIES
We do not need to overeat. The eating too much is a bad habit that often leads us to meet so many diseases . It is clear : if you want to lose weight and stay in shape is impossible to maintain a large amount of food in their eating habits. Reduce , reduce .

2 . CHANGE THE FOOD

It can be a table to determine what is right or wrong to do to stay healthy. It is clear that the excess of fat is determined when introducing in 'body more calories than necessary. The calories in surplus may have different origins : protein, fat , carbohydrates or alcohol.

5 . PHYSICAL ACTIVITY
Physical activity is a great help to increase the amount of energy (ie calories) and consequently generates a feeling of well-being. If you are gaining weight , you must eat less and exercise more . At the base of the diet are: carbohydrates , which provide us with the ' energy to be consumed in the immediate time .
The guidelines recommend scientific fact, in most cases , an intake of carbohydrate calories equal to at least 55 % of the total. This means that more than half of the food consumed daily should consist of foods containing carbohydrates: cereals , legumes, fruits and vegetables. Here , these are the best carbohydrates , those that should not ever fail . Then there are bread (preferably wholemeal) , pasta and whole grains and their derivatives , which further increase your fiber intake .
For your diet can not eliminate carbohydrates : are your survival. However, it is important to know how to choose and eat a few . These nutrients are divided into simple and complex . Complex carbohydrates of plant origin, are called starches and fibers , are found in grains, vegetables, breads , seeds, and omega-3.

BE CAREFUL !
Excess fat, especially saturated , can have negative effects : overweight , high cholesterol, increased risk of heart disease and certain types of cancer . After menopause, a diet too rich in fat puts women at increased risk of breast cancer and to ' endometrium . Less than 30% of daily calorie intake should come from fat and less than 10% from saturated fat .

6 . BALANCING THE INTAKE OF SALT
The salt ( chemical symbol NaCl) is made up of sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl) . Sodium is a nutrient that exists naturally in many foods. Sodium and chlorine are important because they help the body maintain fluid balance and regulate blood pressure . In the majority of people an excess of sodium is without consequences , but sometimes it may instead cause an increase of pressure. The relationship between salt intake and blood pressure is still unclear and should contact your family doctor for advice.

7 . GET STARTED QUICKLY AND GRADUALLY CHANGE
Reduce the overall amount of food but increase the variety of foods

INGREDIENTS:
-2 Rack of lamb about 1 kg each with a layer of fat
- Apples: 1 cup of juice
- Lemons (or limes) 1/4 cup of juice
- Extra virgin olive oil 1/4 cup
- Mignonette pepper to 1 tablespoon
-Coriander seeds 1 tablespoon
- Garlic 3 cloves
-Mint leaves 10
-1 tablespoon salt 
-3 heads Belgian endive salad
- Pre-cooked sweet corn cobs 2
- Onions of Tropea 2
- Chopped parsley 100 gr
- Extra virgin olive oil 250 ml

PREPARATION

1 . - It starts with marinating the loin . In a plastic bag for food with zipper closure ( found in all supermarkets) we are going to insert, after the meat, apple juice, lime juice, chopped mint leaves with your hands,
 the mignonette pepper , coriander seeds crushed in a mortar, peeled and crushed garlic, and salt. Once the operation is complete, close the zipper and shake vigorously to allow a minimum content of the emulsion. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

 2 . - Preheat the grill to maximum temperature and in the meantime cut the heads of endive in the direction of the length and the onion rings. The corn will be cooked whole and then shelled the end.

3 . Once prepared vegetables, melt one tablespoon of butter you use to brush the vegetables. Grilled vegetables on high heat for a few seconds , just to keep almost unchanged structure providing aromatization through the classic lines of the grill.

4 . - Meanwhile prepare a parsley oil tritandone simply a nice clump, making sure to leave even the stems, then you are going to put in a mortar , adding the oil, pounded ingredients, along with a pinch of salt. Eventually sorted all without pressing to avoid that the oil remains opaque.

5 . - When it's time to cook the meat from the marinade thoroughly cleaned and dried the surface of the meat with paper towel. Brush afterwards with a thin layer of vegetable oil and grill to heat elevato. Remember that because of the sugars present in apple juice that have been absorbed by the meat , the latter will tend to make the crust very quickly and tend to burn.

6 . When the surface is well cauterized, remove from heat and wrap the meat in a triple layer of aluminum that you will put on the barbecue but away from the heat source . If you have a barbecue with lid , remember to keep it closed . Let cook for the recommended time , remove from heat and allow the meat to rest wrapped for 10 minutes to allow a redistribution of humors . Remove the meat sliced by aluminum ribs and impiattatene 3 per guest, along with grilled vegetables and corn on the cob that you have previously shelled . Sprinkle with the parsley oil and add a bit ' of the cooking liquid that you will recover from the aluminum foil . Sprinkle again with mineral salt ( black salt , red or coarse salt ) and serve hot .

INGREDIENTS 20 grams of butter, 1/2 onion, 1 clove of garlic, 200 ml of fresh cream, 80 grams of bacon, 250 grams of chanterelle mushrooms, 3 tbsp olive oil, 1/2 glass of white wine, pasta hay and straw noodles (300 grams), salt to taste, 4 sprigs of parsley to garnish the whole thing. PREPARATION For the realization of straw and hay noodles with ragu of chanterelle mushrooms and bacon, begin by preparing the sauce : Wash gently chanterelle mushrooms under running water (you may want to quickly accomplish this task, because the chanterelles absorb water with great ease if they are not too dirty earth will be sufficient to use a damp cloth). Drain very well and chop finely . Chop the onion and fry in butter on low heat for a few minutes , add the crushed garlic and, if necessary, a bit of water so as not to tarnish the onion. At this point add the chanterelles, pour the white wine, then cook all over medium heat for about 15 minutes, or until complete evaporation of the wine. Prepared now the bacon: cut it into cubes, whisk a half with a mixer, or a small blender, and add the mushrooms in cooking. Do jump in a pan with the remaining bacon, diced, to make it crispy, then add it to the sauce in the preparation and cook again for another 10 minutes. Towards the end of cooking , add the cream , stir well and season with salt and pepper. Boil noodles in salted water straw and hay when they are cooked, drain and dress with the sauce obtained (if are too dry, you can soften it all with a few tablespoons of the cooking water. The noodles straw and hay with chanterelle sauce and bacon are ready : Serve immediately,garnished the dish with a sprig or chopped,parsley. If you do not find chanterelle mushrooms(chanterelles ) or do not have enough, you can prepare this sauce with other mushrooms, such as porcini or tacks.

INGREDIENTS

   

2 cups of basmati rice 4 glasses of water 4 zucchini fresh parsley onion turmeric powder salt, olive oil and black pepper 

PREPATION

Cut onion into thin slices, then clean from the ends of the zucchini and cut into small cubes or julienne. Pour into a pan with a little olive oil and let it soften with a little water. Then stir and sauté for about 15 minutes over very low heat. Apart cook the basmati rice in water as soon as it is cooked, add the turmeric to taste (up to three teaspoons for an intense staining). Add the zucchini all cooked, add the chopped parsley is full-bodied. Stir quickly making him jump over the fire, turn off and add a sprinkling of pepper and a final round of oil.

INGREDIENTS: Mozzarella 250 gr, 300 gr 00 flour, 1 kg potatoes, 1 egg, salt up enough, grated Parmesan 100g, copper or San Marzano tomatoes (or tomato sauce or peeled )1.2 kg, basil 5 -6 leaves, extra virgin olive oil to taste. PREPARATION: To prepare the dumplings to Sorrentina started from potatoes, to make dumplings: wash them under running water to remove any dirt, then pour into a large saucepan and add the salt to taste. Boil the potatoes (it will take about 40 minutes), meanwhile slice the mozzarella and then cut it into small cubes: will be used for seasoning, then set it aside to cool. So take in some fresh tomato sauce. Wash the tomatoes under running water, then cut them in half and remove the seeds (if you do not have fresh tomatoes, you can use the tomato sauce or canned tomatoes). Pour into a pan and close the lid to let them boil a few minutes. Then, pass the tomatoes through a vegetable in collecting the pulp into a small bowl. Then pour the pulp into the pan, add a little olive oil and basil leaves. Cook for about 30 minutes on low heat, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile you can prepare the dumplings: Now that the potatoes are cooked, drain then peel while still hot, being careful not to burn yourself. So on a work surface and sift the flour created the classic form of a fountain. Put the potato masher to make them fall directly in the middle of the fountain. Then add the egg and salt before you start to knead. Knead the dough with your hands until the mixture is smooth and without lumps ( if it should still be sticky , you can add little flour at a time, to avoid too much flour finish to dry the dough and make it too hard). Form a loaf and then divide it into pieces roughly. Handle each piece to get some loaves of dough thickness of 2-3 cm, and then started to cut your dumplings and give the typical rifling passing them on the appropriate rigagnocchi or on the tines of a fork. Transferred gradually gnocchi on a tray lined with a kitchen towel dusted with flour. Then bring to a boil salt water to taste in a large pot and large, pour a little olive oil and dip the dumplings in boiling water. After a few moments you will begin to see them come to the surface: it will be the moment to drain them with a slotted spoon. Pour into a baking dish, add the olive oil, pureed fresh tomatoes and toss with the grated Parmesan cheese. Last add the mozzarella and bake the dumplings to Sorrentina mode seasoned grill for 5 minutes at 250°. Serve hot and streamers!

INGREDIENTS: 


   -6 medium sized green peppers, 

  -4 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter),

  - 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, 

  -1/2 tablespoon garam masala,

  -1/2 tablespoon chili powder, 

 -1/2 tsp turmeric, 

 -1 small piece of ginger (finely chopped),

- about 200-250g of mixed vegetables cut into cubes

 -1 potato, peeled and sliced, 

 -the juice of 1 lemon

 - 2 teaspoons salt.


PREPARATION: Wash the peppers, cut an opening on the side of the stalk and remove the seeds and ribs. In 2 tablespoons of ghee, fry the spices for two minutes. Join the vegetables and potatoes, lemon juice and salt. Cook until the vegetables are tender. Fill the peppers with this mixture, close the vent hole and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. Now add a cup of water, cover the pan and simmer until sweet peppers are cooked.

Acute bronchitis is viral or bacterial infection of the bronchial tree that often grows three or four days after the onset of a cold or flu. In Germany, a group of researchers studied 361 adults with acute bronchitis dividing them into 2 groups , with one group was fed a formula containing natural thyme and primrose root , the other group took a placebo. In the 11 days , the researchers wrote down the number of coughing fits that attacked every day, the participants in the study. The subjects who took the combined formula thyme primrose recorded a decrease in access of 16% compared to placebo and other symptoms improved very quickly. Bronchipret syrup containing Thyme and Ivy was given in Germany to more than 1,200 children and adolescents. After 4 days of treatment , the severity of symptoms was decreased by 46 % and after 10 days had dropped 86%. About 9 out of 10 subjects had found relief thanks to the preparation.
