Suffragettes No More - The Long Struggle for Women's Equality

Suffragettes No More - The Long Struggle for Women's Equality | special purpose maps | Scoop.it

Michael Spicer's insight:

This paper talks about the history and specific examples of how people fought for women's rights.  It included specific people and examples. It encourages the reader to take part in the fight for women's rights.  It includes talk about how the word suffragette came to be (how it was once a derogatory comment towards those who fought for equal rights).  It talked about the Grimke sisters and other specific people.
