Socialization of Indie Movies Encourages Remarkable "Spaces" to Work for Cheap

Edward Burns casually describes how he created memorable and productive "spaces" between people in various locations during the 12-day filming of his $9000 movie, "Newlyweds." By considering the relationships he had, the motivations people have to contribute to something lasting, he appealed to his partners' potential gains and motivations, provided incentives and gratitude to his partners, and creatively (and I'm sure with dignity) begged, bargained, and traded for as many resources as possible to finish his movie. A terrrific example describing the psychic value created in a "space" where people are motivated to share their unique contributions to a larger project out of a sense of goodness, fun, or joy.
