Block to success: planning on the front-end and no strategy to drive any achievable or measurable goals forward. Knowing your end goal and desired results allows you to focus your time, energy and money on what is working rather than simply throwing ideas at a wall and hoping they stick. Identifying which social channels your target audience is using and then knowing how to connect with them is crucial to social media success.

BOOSTING FACEBOOK POSTS
Do you wonder why always the same people engage with your page posts? It's simple: because Facebook isn't even showing your posts to the other fans. Before showing a post to a certain fan, that fan first has to like, share or comment on your page. At least once.

So, if you want to ensure all your Fans get to see a certain status update, you will have to pay for that, as Facebook offers you to promote (or 'boost') that post. Underneath article explains very well how this actually works. I will try it out too and tell you about the results!
