How to Market in Agile Times

How to Market in Agile Times | Social Media and Agile Marketing for Newbies | Scoop.it

To say that today’s real-time state of mind has thrown a wrench in the linear waterfall approach to business would be an understatement. Our coveting of immediacy has done a number not only on the big picture, but on all the little details, as well. For marketers, that means well-worn techniques just don’t cut it anymore.

Can We Trust Google? (Infographic) | Business Computing World | Social Media and Agile Marketing for Newbies | Scoop.it

“Don’t be evil.” Google’s unofficial corporate motto was originally adopted as a company-wide belief as well as a jab to its competitors. However, Google has come a long way since it was incorporated in 1998, and that has some users wondering if the company’s philosophy has changed. This excellent infographic charts the Internet giant’s business development.

The Architecture of a Social Business

The Architecture of a Social Business | Social Media and Agile Marketing for Newbies | Scoop.it

I've been following Dion Hinchliffe for some time. If ever you wanted to get the inside track on what Social Business (or it's precursor - Enterprise 2.0) is all about, then check out Dion's blog - and books!

Everything is going social. Whether it’s merely the addition of sharing buttons on content within an existing app, or if it’s a fundamental reworking of a customer support system to be powered by mass community participation instead of trouble tickets, social is infusing our work environment in ways too numerous to count.

The architectural view presented here only goes down to a certain level of detail, yet it’s one of the most updated views of social business architecture available.

With thanks to Stephen Dale for this clipping.
