Rand Fishkin is going to talk about running some SEO tests.

 

So it is the case that many of us in the SEO world, and in the web marketing world overall, love to run tests on our websites. Of course, there's great software, like Unbounce or Optimizely, if you want to run conversion-style tests, tests that kind of determine whether users perform better through conversion Funnel X or Funnel Y, or if Title X or Title Y convinces more people to buy.

 

But SEO tests are particularly insidiously challenging because there are so many components and variables that can go into a test.

Le montant de la transaction n’a pas été officiellement divulgué, mais plusieurs médias américains évoquent une opération proche des 100 millions de dollars. Plus précisément, la société édite une solution de reciblage publicitaire qui se focalise sur les internautes ayant téléchargé une application qu’ils n’utilisent peu ou plus. Les éditeurs peuvent alors émettre une publicité les incitant à réutiliser l’app, ou à la retélécharger.

Here are a few tips for using animated GIFs in email:

1-Make it intentional.

2-Make the first frame count.

3-Link it.

4-Use a styled alt tag and background color. Some email clients still block images by default, so it's always a good idea to use defensive design to ensure the email is functional and degrades gracefully with images off. You can style the color, font, and size of an alt tag with inline CSS:

Dans la jungle du backlink, il peut parfois être difficile de s’y retrouver et d’avoir une vision d’ensemble des liens… Heureusement, il existe beaucoup d’outils sur le marché permettant d’y voir un peu plus clair, la plupart étant gratuit. Parmis eux, on retoruve les incontournables Bing et Google Webmaster Tools.

 

Mais ce n’est pas sur ceux-ci que je vais m’attarder aujourd’hui, mais sur OpenLinkProfiler et WebMeUp, découverts via le site Search Engine Land.

 

Les deux outils sont gratuits, même si WebMeUp propose une version payante pour les fonctionnalités les plus avancées. Rassurez-vous, ils sont très bien pour une utilisation classique, comme pour ce que j’en fais, par exemple. Ce qui m’a plus chez ces outils, c’est le niveau de détail de l’analyse et les statistiques qui en ressortent. Par exemple, on peut très facilement analyser son pourcentage de liens backlinks en DoFollow et voir tous les détails propres à chacun.

 

Tandis que OpenLinkProfiler présente son rapport à la manière d’une liste contenant les liens et noms de domaines qui pointent vers votre site, WebMeUp a quant à lui adopté une présentation beaucoup plus travaillée visuellement. Je vous invite à les tester dès maintenant sur votre site si ce n’est pas déjà fait !

 

En tous cas, il reste toujours intéressant de pouvoir surveiller la provenance de son trafic et ses backlinks. Si vous pensez être victime de Negative SEO, n’oubliez pas de déclarer les liens négatifs via l’outil de désaveu de liens Google !
