Zynga’s Draw Something Slingshots Past Angry Birds in App Store | Social Gaming as a way to Market Your Business | Scoop.it

Finally we get a game where creativity is inherent in the game... I have tried this game and absolutely LOVE it! My problem is that I simply do not have enoug hours in the day to play it! When I get downtime from my client work in curating and managing social media accounts I want to do my own drawings and sketches for future games, animation, biz models of my own...lol.....yes, folks it seems that the day to be a creative has finally arrived! Hang in there soon we will be making $$ from it as well as we zoom past baby sketches to full on conceptual drawings and dare we say the ART of video games, social media et all!

E 2.0: Enterprise Gamification & the Behavior Engine | The Business of Social Media Beyond Web 2.0 | Social Gaming as a way to Market Your Business | Scoop.it

The more I learn about Enterprise 2.0, the more inclined I am to encourage companies to throw caution to the wind: buy (or build) some well-designed lightweight tools that take advantage of emergence and game mechanics, find a few leaders willing to lead by example, and go live”.

Content Vs. Advertising: Which One Leads The Gaming Industry? | Fast Company

Content Vs. Advertising: Which One Leads The Gaming Industry? | Fast Company | Social Gaming as a way to Market Your Business | Scoop.it

On Empire Avenue it is content that leads the way...in fact your "value" to shareholders is based largely on your content although you can advertise and self promote all you wish....but most see that as a hard sell ---not that "social" -  shall we take content as the future of gaming? If it is "social" - I do!

Who killed videogames?

Who killed videogames? | Social Gaming as a way to Market Your Business | Scoop.it

As video games companies and players continue to morn the loss of their audience - which -- I guess have gone online to play social games, it sounds to me a bit like old media (i.e. print, radio and TV) crying over the loss of their audience's as well, this blog looks at what it calls "behaviorial" econmics. Clearly they were not reading Kevin Kelly's New Rules for the New Ecomony back in 1998 or they would have been forewarned about this demise.

Remember, the word is "social" and it is a new way to communciate so somethings are gonna change. We might see less killing games, does that mean we are evolving to become more social?

Empire Avenue is to me the ultimate social media game and while some people may think of it as a time suck...(i.e. old school biz mindset of bottem line old school media thinking...get on the phone, make another cold call..) in effect you can build your business while playing a game, how fun is that?
