In this case we streamlined monthly financial reporting between different locations. I used one big list to check off monthly, and displayed the content on one page per location, and targeted the web part to the location.

In this case we replaced an Excel file, that was being edited my multiple people, by a list. This was a real productivity booster...the call center could suddenly make twice as many calls per day as before!

This was a case where we tested a new service (High Tea) in our coffeebars. We did not want to spend money on software until we knew the service was a success. Therefore we used SharePoint to collect reservations for High Teas. Collection and data entry was done by an external party.

This is an example of a request process with a 3rd party service provider. We replaced an ad hoc email-based process by a list in a Team Site. This also gave the process owner a much-needed overview of all Teleconference bridges in use at the company.
