Welcome to Ms. Wallenstein's Class

Welcome to Ms. Wallenstein's Class | September News | Scoop.it

A new year has begun and I am so excited about all of the new and exciting things that are coming to Olney ES. My name is Lora Wallenstein and I have been a 4th and 5th grade teacher at Olney for over 8 years! I live in Ellicott City with my two daughters, Lily and Emilie, a crazy dog named Happy, a moody cat named Addy and several fish that get their names changed by the girls on a daily basis. It is a zoo around my house!! I feel very blessed that I truly can say I love my job. I look forward to coming in each day and I hope that I will be able to transfer that to your child!

This is going to be the year of technology integration. The classroom is ready with a brand new computer, a projector, and a set of 10 netbooks to share with the fourth grade. Your child will be participating in an online community, through Edmodo.com, where they will get opportunities to interact with multimedia materials across all content areas. I can't wait to get to know you and your child better over the next few weeks! It is going to be an AMAZING year! :-)
