This degree takes 2 years to complete and usually requires a thesis. To get your doctorate degree is usually a 4-6 year program. The first 2 years is made up of advanced coursework. The last years are spent developing and conducting original research.

Q1: Where did you go to college?

A1: "The George Washington University and University of Massachusetts Darthmouth."

Q2:What are your degrees in?

A2: "I have a bachelor's degree in biology and a master's degree in marine biology."

Q3: Why did you decide to pick these fields?

A3: "I've always had a love of the ocean and have always wanted to have a job where I spent the most of my time there."

Q4: What do you do with your degree now?

A4: "I am working with the Mexican National Parks office on environmental education and research. I am also investigating the spiny lobster and other organisms in natural and artificial reefs."
