It's important to regularly evaluate our lifestyles to see what habits may be negatively affecting our over all health. Simple tweaks and changes to choices in foods, regularity of exercise and the introduction of supplements may be the key to a healthy, longer life. These changes are essential to preventative steps seniors can take to guard themselves against disease.

According to the most recent Alzheimer's Association report called 2014 Facts and Figures, the fight against Alzheimer's disease (AD) isn't faring very well and women are taking the brunt of it.

I wasn't all that startled when I read the headline of this article. As VIP America's Client Liaison, I am often the first person a new client sees when they begin their association with our company. More often than not when I receive a new client referral form with that nasty word "Alzheimers" in the diagnosis section, the F is  also circled in the gender box. As women and most often the primary caregivers for our loved ones, it is our duty to begin to institute whatever preventative methods we can into our lifestyles. Especially before we find ourselves victims of one America's ugliest and most ruthless diseases.
