The Story of the Montogmery Bus Boycott

The Story of the Montogmery Bus Boycott | Segergation |

Montgomery Bus Boycott (1955) - This began with Rosa Parks refusing to sit in the back of the bus. The boycott's goal was to protest segregation in public buses.  It was an important civil rights event in that her personal actions gave strength to others to stand up to the inequalities faced.

Without the montgomery bus boycott I don't think the civil rights movement would of been as effective because the boycotting played an improtant part. This article makes me feel relived that people took a stand so that I can today sit wherever I like on a bus.

Rosa Parks will always be associated with the Montgomery Bus Boycott of 1955-56 which many regard as the start of a major civil rights offensive in America.

I like this article because it has a famous African american icon known as Rosa Park

i thought this would be a good article to scoop because it went in to more detail about the bus ride she went through  in that time and it was because they could not sit on the same bus seat as white

My reaction to this article was very proud because i always like how she was one Woman who stood up for want she wanted which was hard for  African american women at the time
