Interesting to see the chemical science behind the glow-stick.  Most students will be unaware of the chemical reaction involved in making the glow stick light up just by mixing two different liquids.  Great experiment for students to do when working with energy and light or in the topics of mixtures in chemistry.

I would be able to use this video in the introduction of chemical mixtures in the year 8 topic of substances and mixtures.  This would be an asset as the students will be willing to try it themselves and see how mixing two clear chemicals to make something that glows.  The exploding pumpkin video would also be an asset when teaching this topic as it will show that not all experiments are stable and can cause an eruption of chemicals.

Great way to show students the use of dry ice using fun, exciting and edible ways. This is a way to explain about C02  and its uses around the world.
