This site has so many resources that can be used for many different subjects.  In the science section, there are downloadable close passages, prediction sheets for experiments, powerpoint slides as well as scaffolds under different topics for all different stages.

These resources can be put up around the classroom to remind children of the investigative and reporting process. It helps breakdown the elements of aim, hypothesis etc in a simplified way. Could be useful for Stage 2 or 3 when children are conducting experiments with more variables.

On this website is an interactive 'Build an Insect' game that assists children with insect classification. It uses the correct terminology of body parts and suggests possible insect species that the insect in progress could be based on the different parts used. May be effective for a Stage 1 'Living Things' topic.

This video is of an experiment conducted in a primary school. It describes a battery making process and why certain materials are used. The fact that students made the video and used instructional language makes it useful for teaching students about different modes of writing, using scientific language and shows how they can implement technology in a science lesson. It would be useful to show this to students prior to making their own batteries and may fit into topics around energy in a stage 3 classroom.
