Innovación educativa en la universidad: ¿de qué estamos hablando? #innovaeduca13

Innovación educativa en la universidad: ¿de qué estamos hablando? #innovaeduca13 | Samben's web 2.0 content | Scoop.it

6 Things Teachers Do to Flip the Classroom

6 Things Teachers Do to Flip the Classroom | Samben's web 2.0 content | Scoop.it

Get 6 Real World Examples of a Flipped Classroom from Subject Experts.

The Flipped Classroom model is changing the ways students learn and teachers teach. When you flip your classroom, you offer your students rich, engaging material to consider at home, and you use class time to help them interact with the ideas. Lecturing during class time is minimized and students have a teacher nearby when they are doing work and most likely to need guidance.

The key to "flipped" is to rethink who has control of content and learning. These are some great tactics to help move instruction toward more student-led learning.
Kimberly A. Hurd's curator insight, May 31, 2013 5:52 PM

Great insight.

Morocco: Technology has changed our life for ever

Morocco: Technology has changed our life for ever | Samben's web 2.0 content | Scoop.it

Morocco introduced satellite receivers in the end of 90s and since that time peoples’ minds and behaviors changed forever. After that a big change took place as people opened their minds on other cultures and other behavior starting from the way of dressing to even the way of kissing.

I really enjoyed this first hand account of how technology has changed life and communications in Morocco. I lived and worked with teachers there for quite a few years and really saw many of these transformations taking place. No amount of research can compare with these types of first hand experiences.

It sounds vastly different from I taught there too (although that was over 20 years ago.) Thanks for the story.
