P- problems with unhealthy living eating behaviors

P- eating health while on the go can be hard, epecially for teenagers

P- people tend to  eat on the go a lot, when not paying attention eating because you are ding something else  you an your body are not focused on when tellin you you're full, therfore you can keep eating 

P- vegetables are important but teens tend to leave that out of their diet

B- benefits of a healthy diet

 

S-suggestions for healthy eating 

S- teenagers are still growing so they need all the nutrients they can get, espeically boys

S- always eat breakfeast: need energy for your body. mix of protien, carbs, and healthy fats 

S- breakfest sandwich is perfect for teens 

S- sanwhiches for lunch but use whole grain bread, meat and cheese, dark geen leafs

S-musurd and humus is better than mayonaise: less fat

S- no flavored waters, cuts out sugars 

S- teens need to avoid drinks with caffine: makes heart race

S- athletes need to drink a lot and always be hydrated: gatorade when hot out, replaces electrolytes

S- sit down dinners with family

CUNCUSSIONS: WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW(first article)

D= dangers of concussions

-concussions occur more in childrens then adults becasue childrens brains are still developing

-head is large as children and neck is not strong, which cause more movemnent upon impact, usually causing more injury to brain

-4 categories with symptoms: 1.) cognitive; trouble with memory, learning, attention, sleep issues, head pain, migraines, severe anixety, suicidal thoughts, etc.

-people who already have migranes, depression, anxiety, or ADHD take longer to recover. 

 

 

G= guidelines for students to return to activities

-schools take computerized assesments before physical actvity, then after sports the test is given again and compare both test results.

-after consuission, it's hard to pick up on there full course load, so un til they recover, students must drop courses that can eaasily be picked back up at a later time

 

S= suggestions for solving the problem of concussions

-listento doctors; start  physicall activity slowly with walking or slow jogging, then if there re no symptoms, then continue with ore active sports

P-New studies prove that if men include that in their diet, they have a lower risk of getting parkinsons disease.  more than 800 people developed parkinsons in the study, researchers dicovered that 40% were less likely to have it becsue they ate the food.

 P-Women expierienced 405 heart attacks, but the ones that ate the most blueberries and strawberries had a 32% less risk of a heart attackP- eat healthy, otherwise you are exposed to other heart disesase risks: obesity, high blood pressure, and low levels of physical activity.

 

B=benefits of a healthy diet

B- eating strawerries and blueberries is benefit for the heart, benefits last a long time.

B- berries, tea, apples, and red wine are all in a compound called flavonoids. 

B- women who ate more berries, ate healthier by adding more vegetables, and fruit to their diet

B-lowers risk of heart disease

B- berries have a high level in anthocyanins

B-by changing eating habits can benefit you for  your life

B- healthy diet can stop the genes that boost your risk of heart disease (fuits and vegetables)

S- eating bright colored berries is good for any healthy diet 

S- according to studies, women who eat at least three mor more servings of blueberries and strawberries per week reduces the risk of heart attacks by one third.

-high school baseball football, soccer, and lacrosse players were more accident prone to consussions then college athletes.

-girls soccer and basketball is more open to concussions

-female sports have the higher percentage of concussions,especially girls hockey-highest rate

-helmets were scientfically proven that they barely prevent concussions

-after being expossed to one concussion, you are more likely to have more

-if parents knew about the damage concussions could cause, not many kids would be high school athletes, according to a voting pole
