I added this link to my topic because it shows some very successful professionals that used the new program as soon as it came out. Hearing results from people who know the program and how it works is more credible to me than just reading about it. It's very interested to hear what real industry professionals have to say about new advancements within the industry and how they deal.

This article was more so based on the the actual make up of the program. It explains that how it is designed to be played as an instrument. The program picks up right where it left off with its amazing history and being known for creating some of the first influential drum sounds.

My initial opinion of the topic is excitement. Knowing that new progressions have been made for musical programs is always good news for an aspiring producer. Also knowing the reputation of Roland makes me believe that this new 808 will be the best one yet.

This article was very informative. It started out giving major history and showing how directly related the creation of the new program. It also had a youtube video that showed the differences in the old and new programs. It's new design was based off the original format.
