Georgette Nolan's insight:

#16 This article goes into details about how social media has become intertwined with our daily lives. This makes it hard to differentiate between what on there is real and fake and we tend to get carried away with what we read, when we really should take most things with a pinch of salt. There is also information about how reviews are both paid for and legitimate. This becomes confusing and shows how companies with money are going to be seen on most of our social media pages.

Social Media: Risks to Relationships

Pastor Terrence Alspaugh on ABC 2 News commenting on the risks of social media to relationships.
Georgette Nolan's insight:

#3 This TV interview by ABC 2 News is an authentic interview that discusses social media and the affects that it has on real life relationships. Georgette Nolan's insight:

#20 This article by the guardian is highly credible as the guardian is a credible source, however the actual article isn't very relevant to my topic. I have included it on here however because it does show how businesses are now putting budgets in place just for social media as it is a great way to market. This then comes relevant to the subject of online authenticity and credibility because it demonstrates that there are businesses out there that are using this as a new form of marketing thus there must be a big market out there that will receive the information that they are giving. Thus the online audience is huge so the number of people that are affected by people that are posing on the internet has potential to be extremely significant.

Georgette Nolan's insight:

#2 “Social media is like a gold mine for cyber criminals,” says Shook. This is what my presentation is all about. This article but ABA banking journal is made more authentic by adding legitimate quotes however it isn't a verified blog.  The personal nature of blogs though gives this article body and shares peoples opinions re the subject. These opinions are what I am looking for. They are backed up by credible facts and arguments. The idea that there are people that try to "add" you on social media without you even knowing who they are are very real to what happens. The fact that social media is based on trust is one that now I have read this article I will explore further.
