The article provides a lot of information about innovative tools that can be used by teachers to increase pupils' interest and also it shares information about how to teach English Language using ICT. In the analysis section, some comparisons have been made concerning technologies used in the past such as tape recorder or even the blackboard and insists that new technologies are far more interactive. I do agree that this comparison is valid. The article provides a very interesting part about the advantages and disadvantages but does not emphasize on the use of ICT exclusively in the teaching and learning of English Language. It only presents the ideas in a global way. On the overall, this article shares a lot of useful information about the given topic and provides very helpful innovative tools that teachers can use in classroom while teaching English Language.

The integration of ICT in the learning of language is a very effective pedagogical tool as it creates interactive teaching and learning to make students more interested. Even if a computer is a tool that facilitates people in learning a language, the effectiveness depends totally upon the user. The latest effective method that has been highlighted in the report is the CALL ( Computer Assisted Language Learning). The major advantages of ICT also have been mentioned. This article provides in depth analysis of how technology can be used to enhance the process of teaching english language. Mauritius being a multi-lingual country, sometimes confusion can occur between english and french words whether in written or oral. For example "confort" in french and " comfort" in english. With technology we can hear the words more than once and with the good phonetics. Although the Sankore project has just stepped in the education system, it is heading in the right direction to have a class with ICT to teach english language.
