While at home one evening preparing dinner for her family, Linda Martinez described her early years in Rome and why she and her husband decided to open a hotel. She told me how she was able to blend her responsibility as a business owner with her devotion to important causes. She also revealed some of her challenges and the frustrations she notices in many of the Italians.

 

As our conversation continued, I could sense Linda's passions emerging. I could hear them when she described her typical day and the hidden sights within a thirty minute walk of her hotel.
