Valerie Seah's insight:

A really interesting read on how simple changes in your diet can cure health issues such as eczema, irritable bowel and migraines. Food is medicine and I truly believe in this saying! I used to have constipation years ago, and I even consumed laxatives to irritate my insides so that I would visit the bathroom more often! However, they made me feel really uncomfortable and my stomach would hurt! Subsequently, I increased my fiber intake and changed some aspects of my diet. It took quite some time for my body to adjust but now, I never experienced constipation anymore!

Valerie Seah's insight:

Poor nutrition is the leading cause of death in America. Chemically made sweeteners, colorings and flavorings are added into numerous products that we see in the supermarkets today. The nutritional levels of these highly processed foods are so low that food experts claimed for them to be similar to "edible food-like substances."  Again, I am highlighting this, that we need to educate ourselves and learn what is really inside the things that we buy.
