Often, people harbour a social stigma towards people consulting a psychologist, and this leads to an inherent fear of being labelled as “mentally sick”. However, times have changed and i think there is a need to eradicate our skeptical mindset on seeking help from a psychology and broaden our perspective to realise that everyone has the rights to approach for professional help whenever they feel stressed out or unhappy, and not fear being judged.
