Luis Armando Casique's insight:

Technology is not bad when you give it the proper use. There are a lot of artists or musician who are more focused in the use of technology, whether they're looking to get more fans, to promote their own imagen and more, they stop doing the most import thing to them as a musicians that is to make real music and share it with the world.

It's getting harder to determine whether or not a person has talent because everything is so technologically advanced so they edit their music so much

Andre Westmoreland Jr's curator insight, February 10, 2016 12:23 PM

I as an artist strongly agree with what is being stated in this article. In today's industry there is a huge lack of talent, and it seems the artist with the real talent and actual lyrics, are being canceled out the people with real talent who don't use voice software such as, auto tune. Being an artist I have two view's on this area if your popular on social media, your career is already at a advantage people are already aware of you, In comparison say that a artist already has 20 thousand followers on a particular social media and the other artist has 1000. Although the artist with 1000 followers, has done hundreds, of shows and has millions of songs flowing over the internet, the person with 20,000 followers just makes one song or video, and his career has gone main stream. The point is social media and technology does play a huge factor in today's industry.

Luis Armando Casique's insight:

I think if you have been in a concert before you might have seen him. This "guy" could ruin your concert, starting fights and hurting people. We need to find a way to stop these people, and the artists should do the same so we can enjoy of good music every time we go to a concert.
