Sousveillance Anyone? | MJ's Edu Zen Zone

Sousveillance Anyone? | MJ's Edu Zen Zone | Privacy & Security | Scoop.it
Mitchell Boden's insight:

Privacy is a thing of the past. Total Transparency is the new paradigm.  I know that people hate it when I say that, but it is true. The only REAL question these days is what KIND of transparency people will opt for in society: Surveillance? or Sousveillance?

Sousveillance = The watching of the watchers by the watched.
Or bottom-up surveillance rather than top-down. Everybody watching everybody, rather than trusting "Big Brother" to do all the monitoring for you.
