Fear of competition from larger companies can have a debilitating effect on the future prospects of a small business, yet seen for what it is, such competition can actually be beneficial for the smaller business.


Business owners who play their cards right, and focus on their strengths and nimbleness in the market, are able to carve out significant and profitable market share in spite of competition from larger and better resourced competitors.


This excellent article, suggests that when a larger competitor enters your market you should reassess what this means for your company and how you can keep growing to push past the noise created by the new competitor, and it offers five tips on how to successfully compete with big players in your industry.
