Record View: Scottish Labour have played into SNP's hands with defeat, division and embarrassment | Politics Scotland | Scoop.it
RECORD VIEW says new Falkirk candidate Whitefield and Scots party leader Johann Lamont have work cut out to restore Labour's reputation.

Labour in Scotland (and elsewhere for that matter) just seem incapable of learning from past mistakes.

A curious contest at first minister's questions today, operating on both a primary and secondary level. It was a little like watching a play where the main action is salient, if a little predictable.

Reports- Disarray in No campaign extends to Labour | Scottish National Party

Reports- Disarray in No campaign extends to Labour | Scottish National Party | Politics Scotland | Scoop.it
Signs of disarray in the anti-independence No campaign have become more evident this weekend following a report in theSunday Times Scotland that "senior Labour sources" agree with the Tories in their criticism of Alistair Darling as chair of the anti-independence No campaign, and believe that the No campaign is "amateurish". One said: "The concern is that if we don't knock the complacency out of people and sort out Better Together then next year it could go wrong."
Jim Arnott's insight:
It won't matter who the No messenger is - there is simply no positive message for Scotland remaining in the Union. Vote Yes in the Referendum next year is the only message worth voting for.
