I thought this was an interesting article. These fitness trends are all tried and true methods so it seems like people want to go back to the basics for a little while.

So well said in the article - all the trends are going back to basics.  Going back focusing on the basics, looking at nature, getting fresh air.   One of the focuses is on the treadmill, why not try running outdoors and then using the equipment for your body weight training?  Nothing beats seeing the sunrise in the morning, whilst you're doing your exercises!
