The Best Places to Take Photographs | Photography 101 | Scoop.it
BubbaBIGPants's insight:

My thoughts...

no matter where you are, there is that chance that you could capture the next most famous popular flat out amazing picture. Always be ready to push down that button and capture anything that your eye see's. it also helps to have amazing things right before your eyes such as the grand canyon, the eifel tower in france, or even the statue of liberty. i am aware that people have in fact taken many many many pictures of those 3 examples but there can always be new perspectives on things so why not give it a "shot" . ;)

How to Become a Professional Photographer

My thoughts...

there isnt a specific way to become a proffessional photographer. As long as you understand the basics for example, how to set your camera the correct way by changing the ISO's or the exposure... Just do what you think people would really like and use basic techniques such as usin space, emphasis, texture, value... etc... just allow yourself to be creative in your own way.

50 Most Outstanding Photographers’ Portfolio For Inspiration | Photography 101 | Scoop.it
As aspiring photographers, we always wonder how the professional photographers take photography to a whole different level, how their photography stands out from the rest, how their lenses seem to get...
BubbaBIGPants's insight:

My thoughts...

looking through all these portfolios really illustrated to me that there are so many different types of photography. everyone has their own unique style. mine for example, i like to take pictures of city's and reflections. i feel like when i capture a reflection it shows a lot more than just taking a picture of whats being reflected. most people use models in their pictures and to me. I FEEL LIKE THATS BEEN OVER USED.. (i didnt mean to cap that but it kind of fits there so ill leave it.)

My Thoughts... To edit an image and make it look exactly the way you want it to look, you must first figure out what tools in photoshop work for you. For me i like to burn parts of an image using the "BURN" tool, i like to burn things hat are not showing up very well and making it so that they are clear bright and have good contrast. Another one of my favorite tools is the "DODGE" tool. this tool brightens parts of images and makes the true colors come out and become stronger more visual colors.
