The CIPD says 2 in 5 employers are looking on the web during recruitment. If you are one of them, are you complaint?

The CIPD, the professional body for HR and people development, launches a guide offering advice to employers on pre-employment checks.

Sarah Poynton's insight:

A really interesting article. I would say that grey areas are being created and worked in because the guidelines are open to individual interpretation. A company can now just be 100% compliant, can save time, money and have access to a more accurate result by using a specialist online social profiler. It makes no sense now and into the future to be carrying out these subject checks internally.

If you would like any more info on Online Social Profiling, the experts and how you can now use online information during recruitment then please get in touch.
