Hands down, this is the best run I’ve ever participated in. Nature’s Trail Discovery Run in Tanay held last November 25 took its participants through beautiful mountain trails, through a cave, across a river, up a 600 meter high peak, down a postcard-perfect waterfalls, and dared us to test the limit of what we could achieve.

Afterwards, our guide showed us how a real dynamite looks like and how miners planted such in the holes. As soon as our guide mentioned to us that it was a dynamite, I backed off and told her I couldn't be able to take anymore surprises. She cleared to us that she's not going to light it and she's just going to show us how they put such inside the holes. Good, just to be clear! :D

If they had known me for a longer time, and if I had access to running water, I would have joined in, too. I love children who didn't grow up in the city. When I take their photos they are more curious than they are assertive.

Potipot Island is just a small island (mas malaki pa ang Quezon Memorial Circle) off the coast of Candelaria, Zambales. This island beach is getting more popular nowadays just like its contemporaries in southern Zambales (i.e. Anawangin and Nagsasa coves), but unlike the beaches in the south which have grey sand, Potipot Island's fine sand is cream white.
