The Family doctors receive little or no details about baleful effects of medicines in the majority of drug promotions during visits by Medical representatives according to an international study involving major developed countries.

 

They are however found that the same doctors depicted that they were likely to start prescribing these drugs. More over due to pharmaceutical promotion the doctors are now susceptible with prescribing behavior. The common study, which had doctors fill out questionnaires about each promoted medicine following sales visits, was published online every day.

 

They showed that medical sales representatives failed to offer any details about common or baleful side effects and the type of patients who should not utilize medicine in 59 per cent of the promotions.

The report has been that under certain circumstances, sugar might be permissible for diabetics. This latest controversial suggestion has been based on a series of experimental breakfast meals in which different carbohydrates were given as part of mixed cooked breakfast. When sugar was given in this way, blood sugar level did not appear to be higher than after the other starchy carbohydrates-none of which were particularly high in fibre.

You can find only 34% of global respondents voted pharma a “good” or “excellent” rating for reputation. According to Pharma research study they trail badly in retail pharmacists (62%), medical device companies (50%), private healthcare services (46%), biotech’s (44%), not-for-profit health insurers (39%) and generic drug makers (37%). Eventually in profit health insurers they trailed pharma with 24% which is notable issue as far as pharma global community. For the first time in India MIOT Hospitals came out successful with the Haploid-Identical transplant for treating blood related disorders respectively for Blood Cancers – Leukemia, Lymphomas and myelomas.

The medical regulators have confirmed that Bone Marrow Transplants are the only expedient solution for blood cancers, Thalassemia and Auto-immune deficiencies. It is noted from global pharma community that about 1 million Bone Marrow Transplants have been performed universally up to February 2013. While the number of transplants in India is just touching 2500 which is far low compared to global stats.
