Transforming leadership is more than change. Change can be just moving deck chairs around; while transforming is going beyond where we currently are.

Ian Berry's curator insight, April 19, 2015 9:49 PM

Big words paradigm and transformational. The later is an outcome of several transitions which start with a decision to change. The former is really about intention, feeling and thinking change which precede the behaviourial change that is key to the transitions from what is to what can be

Tony Palmeri's curator insight, October 24, 2015 12:24 PM

I scooped this article because I have always believed that the wheels off change tend to spin slowly. In education, a "paradigm shift" is a cliche' often used to describe any new, profound idea. Yet, any change that occurs tends to be gradually implemented and getting everyone on board is a difficult and tedious process that simply requires time in most instances.

Why All Managers Must Be Leaders

Why All Managers Must Be Leaders | People | Scoop.it

I like this. I see though (and my work with clients is about this) in many places a going much further than this. I think both leadership and management are every person's role. The biggest shift happening in remarkable workplaces and a necessity in the new world of work is that people management is a dead concept. One of the greatest misconceptions in education today is that certain teachers have a higher natural aptitude in technology than others.

This inspirational graphic sets out to disprove that notion and remind the audience that external skills are only a function of the internal dispositions that allowed them to grow.
