Be smart when shopping for food and checking labels, this is because the healthiest foods contains only one ingredient or no label at all. These include: fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, nuts, legumes and other foods with less sugars.
Getting enough sleep is a must as well as having a healthy breakfast. A breakfast needs to be solid and provide your body with the necessary fuel, that will take you to lunch time. This means that your breakfast should contain a good bit of calories, fiber and protein to keep you full. And most importantly, don't forget to exercise.

Why Fruit Is Not the Enemy

The problem with fruit for some people, has to do with the fructose that fruit contains. Fructose is a natural sugar found in fruit that digests more slowly into the blood stream than quick-to-digest sugars such as glucose, lactose, and sucrose do.

Enjoy eating your fruits without mixing it with other foods, as it digests faster than other foods. You can eat lots of low fructose fruits like: cucumbers, tomatoes, avocados, zucchini, lemons, limes, grapefruit, cantaloupe, coconut, berries, Granny Smith apples, butternut squash, and pumpkin.
However, don't forget to include the high fructose fruits, such as: bananas, pineapple, red apples, oranges, and others.
