This diagram explains how PR has evolved through the adoption of social media. It shows that many old forms of marketing and media have become outdated and are been replaced by social media instead. Het antwoord is‘ SlowTech; van realtime naar righttime informatietechnologie. G+ is catching up big time for many reasons.  Among these reasons is the Hangout integration.  

 

We just facilitated a remote 1.5 day leadership development session with Hangouts and it was fantastic.  

 

Google is sticking to their strategy and their value is starting to win people over.  I was never a fan and, through valuable features, I am changing my perspective on the suite of offerings.

 

This is a relevant infographic.

And it actually won the Oscar!

 

While the amount of footage the filmmaker needed to make with his iPhone was small in terms of the overall, I think this sends a number of signals. 1 -  consumer tech is getting closer and closer to industry standards and used in the right way can be effective; and 2 - this is another example of compelling content created with a DIY ethic.

 

I look forward to seeing more examples of where filmmaking can evolve.

Reports now show that Google+ has surpassed Twitter in active users and is second only to Facebook.


A new report by Global Web Index shows that Google+ has surpassed Twitter in active users and is second only to Facebook.

 

Technically YouTube was considered #3 and Twitter came in at #4 by the numbers. Although it is good to note that Twitter is actually the fastest growing of them all, with 40% growthin the last quarter.

Leerzame infografiek over het gedrag van consumenten online en hoe (klein - middelgroot - groot) bedrijven daar mee omgaan. Het managen van social media is kennelijk nog steeds een kwestie.


Meest opvallende stijger is Instagram, dat door het mobiel delen van foto's deel uitmaakt van de grote visualisering van het web. Hoewel het moeilijk te geloven is met een upload volume van, naar verluidt, 72 uur video per minuut, las ik ook voorspellingen dat video dit jaar nog 'groter' gaat worden.
