Since a continually increasing number of students are turning to online education, there are numerous courses available on the internet. Designing a basic online course may be difficult and is no different than working on an eLearning course. If you wish to design an effective e-learning program, that’ll make the transition from classroom to e-learning as pleasant as possible for the students, then that is a different story. It requires a good deal of time, planning, and hard work.

The actions toward contemporary transcultural presentation occurs in art practices, and specifically the motif of the action in their manifest art forms.  Whenever a discourse is purportedly attached to a certain action or events, the two were originally interrelated.  The answer to these enquiries is inexorably connected to the resolution of another complex challenge that concerns the discourses on the enlightenment and the unfolding events attributed to transcultural practitioners by various art promoters.

10 Assessment Design Tips for Increasing Online Student Retention, Satisfaction and Learning

10 Assessment Design Tips for Increasing Online Student Retention, Satisfaction and Learning | Online Learning Tidbits | Scoop.it
How much time do we put into the design of the assessment plans in our online courses? Is most of that time focused upon summative graded assignments that factor into the course grade? Or, do they also include opportunity for practice and informal feedback?

Via Dennis T OConnor

Allan Shaw's curator insight, February 24, 2014 4:43 PM

Assessment should reflect purpose. We require summative assessment in our society and yet we know learners thrive, grow and develop on a diet of formative assessment. The balance is the key! Feedback and the use of authentic assessment tasks are critical positive factors.

Ivon Prefontaine, PhD's curator insight, February 24, 2014 5:46 PM

They make sense, but ask teachers about authentic assessment. It is still thought of as an isolated activity where the student does their project alone. That is not the way of the world and has not been forever. We work and learn together. Why not assess together?

Dr Pam Hill's curator insight, February 25, 2014 9:19 AM

How To Keep Copyright On eLearning Content You Create

How To Keep Copyright On eLearning Content You Create | Online Learning Tidbits | Scoop.it

As a long time freelance writer I always hang on to my copyright.  I recall turning down work for hire jobs because I knew the payoff was in the long haul, not the immediate paycheck.  Hang on to your copyright or negotiate for shared copyright.  If push comes to shove, be ready to walk if you get a low ball offer with no rights attached.
