Given Evernote's cross-platform compatability on the desktop/laptop, maybe Evernote's purchase of Penultimate will bring better integrated inking in Evernote on the Windows Tablet PC. Of course, this seems a step in the right direction to get better digital ink support on the iPad.

This article is a couple of years old, but it is a reminder about good parenting practices as use of digital devices and media in school work continues to grow as more schools look at one-to-one through iPad like tablets and BYOD. As is the case on many fronts, digital technology often amplifies problems that existed before technology was a contributing factor.

TED is providing you a way to create a customized lesson around a video including quizzes, content and pointers to follow-up information determined or created by you, the teacher. Don't miss the fact that you can also use TED-Ed's "Flip This Lesson" tool to create a custom lesson from any YouTube video including your own. This seems great for educators both because it creates what I expect will be a pretty easy to use tool and because it will be very easy to share lessons with other teachers if you choose to give back to the community.
