In a nutshell, the unknown is the scariest.  Yet. If we do not prepare our young people for the unknown future of now knowing who is looking at our online activity, it could be scary for them. Parent's stay away because they do not understand it. For that reason, I fully agree with the analogy of comparing social media to drugs.
