As a OHS student I am interested in where OHS will lead to in the future as a solid foundation in the all industries.  This I think the future of ohs will grow immensely and that will bring grow more people interested in studying the course.

The possibilities and career options as an OHS specialist are incredibly varied, once you get some experience under your belt. I’ve found that a lot of people are looking to change their career paths and move into OHS because it does offer a great variety of career options.

For me, I’d like to stay in Oil and Gas OHS work and mentor new employees coming into the industry. I’ve been working in senior OHS roles for a decade and its only in the past 3 years that the OHS role has really started to change
