The summer in Massachusetts wasn’t as warm as expected. It was a welcome surprise for folks who didn’t have to fire up their HVAC in Framingham, MA. Kendall Hatch, correspondent for the MetroWest Daily News, reports on how the heat-wave-that-wasn’t affected businesses that thrive on summertime climate. Not as expected The temperatures in June and July hovered between 68.4 and 74.1 degrees, which led experts to believe a heat wave was on its way. In August, the temperature dropped to a 70.8, 2.1 degrees below normal. This left everyone wondering where the summertime went.
