This article speaks on how many parents are the blame for their children being obese while the parents like to blame their children's obesity on fast food and other unhealthy foods like chips and gummy snacks. The consumption of these foods are not what makes children obese it is the amount of these foods being consumed by these children due to parents feeding them bigger portions than they need to be eating. In England a survey was done and a lot of parents actually admitted that they feed their children to keep them calm instead of feeding them because they are hungry. Parents should raise children up in the way they want them to live for the rest of their lives therefor parents need to be educated because they may see nothing wrong with feeding their child so they will not fuss or annoy them.

This article speaks on the importance of changing eating habits for a healthier lifestyle. Not only are children put at a high risk for fatal diseases they can also develop mental problems. Depression, poor body image, and low self esteem can be formed by children who are obese at an early age. Children can also become obese because they hear someone say they are overweight and they become obese later in life because they lose hope and think poorly of themselves. It is important that parents give their children healthy eating habits at home and help them with their self esteem so they can live a longer healthier life.
