just like cigarettes are taxed to promote a decrease in access and use, if we tax unhealthy foods, this will help decrease the obesity epidemic crisis we are facing. just like cigarette companies initially fought warning labels, taxes, no smoking areas, and limits on who could purchase their products, food companies will put up the same fight. but look at the success with the significant decrease in smokers!
