Through the years, the nurses become less educated on what is currently going on in the hospitals They are not being updated on the new technology and do not know about the improved policies. To make sure this does not happen, the nurses must continue to attend education classes that most hospitals provide. They can also go to the hospital in-service programs that will not let them fall behind with things like technology,

There have been multiple cases where nurses are in a hurry and do not properly complete the medical record of a patient. They must document every little thing to make sure the records are as accurate as possible. If this is not done, a procedure or medicine could not be given to a patient that could cause a serious sickness or possibly death.

When things are not handled correctly, even if it is an accident, they may lead to intense consequences. The nurses have a person's life in their hands and it is their job to improve their health. If not done properly, patients have been known to sue numerous nurses for improper care. Also, hey have even gone to court and speak to a judge to find out their future punishment, Over half of their cases were said to be accidents but that means nothing.
