Au coeur du réseau expérimental LoRa à Grenoble

Orange a choisi d’investir dans un réseau Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) en France en s’appuyant sur la technologie Low Range (LoRa) pour déployer ce réseau. Ce réseau sera opérationnel dès le 1er trimestre 2016 et progressivement déployé dans 17 agglomérations. Il sera utilisé pour transporter les communications des objets pour les besoins d’Orange et ceux de ses clients, grand public et entreprises. Orange a éprouvé la technologie LoRa en réalisant un pilote à grande échelle dans la ville de Grenoble avec plus d’une trentaine de partenaires dont Schneider Electric et Semtech.

Telecom Design SDK v5.0.0 is out

New Sigfox features:

- Downlink: Bidirectional communication

- Proxy: Transparent (use sender's SIGFOX ID) or non-transparent (use proxy's SIGFOX ID)

- New channels/frequencies 

 

New TD features:

- SDK 5 does not support TD1202 anymore

- SDK 5 supports TD1205

- Adjust TX power to battery status, avoid voltage drops

- Upgraded LAN communication

- Updated Sensor model

Also better realtime/interrupt handling during sigfox transmission.

 

For example now it doesn't crash and the periodicity has not jitter when you create a periodic task with TD_RTC_UserAlarmAfter() with delays less than 1000 while sending sigfox frames.

SIGFOX provides a unique cellular connectivity solution, from Customer's devices to their software applications.
Adeunis RF products (modules or end-points) certified by SIGFOX are capable of sending data over the SIGFOX network.

In making this Candidate Release available for public comment, oneM2M is looking forward to receiving industry input on these foundation specifications for an M2M Service Layer which will enable scalable global deployment of M2M/IoT implementations and which aims at interoperability with existing standards. oneM2M is working to ensure broad cross-industry segment applicability of the Service Layer specifications, and invites interested parties to review the Candidate Release documents and provide comments which will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the initial Release by oneM2M. With the public comment phase scheduled to end 01 November 2014 the updated initial Release of oneM2M specifications will be approved by the oneM2M Technical Plenary in January 2015 for publication by the oneM2M Partner standards development organizations.
