There are a lot of good reasons to redesign your website. It's dated. It's slow. It's hard to navigate.  But there are 1.75 billion more. That's the number of people who use smartphones or tablets, according to HP. And if your site isn't winning over customers on small screens, well, let's just say those people have a lot of choices. There are 1.75 billion mobile web users worldwide!  Nonprofits, don't lose potential supporters b/c they leave your site b/c it's not mobile friendly.  Time to take action.

Wash Cycle Laundry has created jobs for “people who need a second chance,” and a New York City foundation is taking note.

Wash Cycle got a $450,000 loan with a five percent interest rate that will decrease as it hires people from what the company calls “vulnerable adult populations,” said Wash Cycle spokeswoman Leigh Goldenberg. If the company creates 500 jobs over the next five years, they’ll repay the loan at a one percent interest rate.
