My Thoughts:

I think more people should be apart of Housing Hope or doing what they can. It is surpsing that the economy hasnt been this bad since the Great Depression, the article says, "Not since the Great Depression had we seen such a thing," That just makes you realize that there is always people out there worst than you. I dont think homelessness will ever be completey stopped but housing hope is doing a great way of trying to help!

My thoughts:

I don't think people realize how big the homless population is. Kids, African Ameicans, Christians, anyone can be homless its not just one type of person. Although this article mostlty talks about the homless population in Canada, I think this goes for most places. In the article it says, "It is important to understand and communicate the experiences of people who often have no voice in society, but it is equally important not to appropriate their voices." This is the main reason why

I chose to do my project with people who need my help beause there are different circumstances and different stories for everyone.

My Thoughts:

I feel so bad knowing that about 9,300 families are living in homeless shelters. Especially kids, the younger kids can't do anything about there families finnical crisis. I think the new data/ facts are crazy! It is surpising that it says that the main reason for families entering shelters is not because of the economy, "Families still report domestic violence as the No. 1 reason for entering the shelter system. The No. 2 reason is eviction, and No. 3 is overcrowding."
