Hollywood movie and TV shows have brought 170 productions to the state of New Mexico from 2003 to 2012. ‘Longmire’ on A&E TV cable has brought in even more employment. It was reported that the hour-long drama would film 10 episodes in the cities of Santa Fe and Las Vegas. The New Mexico Film Office says, “The production will employ 130 New Mexico crew members and more than 160 principal and background talent.” Many involve Native American actors and actresses.
