Just signed up for Coursera Signature Track Nutrition for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention class ($39 bucks isn't bad at all).  Took a picture of me, took a picture of my ID and had to submit a typing test to track my keystokes.  Check out the other ones as well.

Many universities may offer financial assistance, but often, it is just a fraction of the fees.

If college professors think a lecture hall full of 300 students is a big class, that would seem like private tutoring compared to the enrollment of a single philosophy Coursera class taught by a Duke University professor.
